Saying goodbye...

These girls I taught with made my year THE MOST AMAZING ONE EVER!! I know God had his hands workin when he blessed me with these group of girls! They were... FUN, CRAZY, SMART, and WILD ABOUT LIFE! I was able to fit right in! :) Unfortunately my team is changing next year and I am VERY SAD ABOUT IT! This was probably our LAST DINNER ALL TOGETHER and I made sure to take lots of pictures. I wanted to share my FABULOUS team with YOU! :)








































































Meet BRIDGET (MY ROOMIE for my 1st year of teaching)! She was my Mentor, Partner, & FRIEND! She helped me survive my first year. Anytime I had a question, or needed anything she was just right next door with HELPING HANDS! I've learned so much from her. She is one of the BEST TEACHERS I have ever met, very talented, and a lovely leader. She was our team lead. She kept everything together and was able to handle every situation so calm and collect! I LOVED THAT ABOUT HER! I would be a STRESS MESS if I had to handle everything she had to deal with! I'm very upset and sad, she has decided to try something new next year by teaching 3rd grade. grrrr She has moved to the other side of the school and I will not have her as my neighbor anymore! :( I will miss HER SOO MUCH! It will take MAJOR adjustments for me to get over this change... but at least she is not leaving the school! :) That makes me happy!


These 2 special girls have left my team HIGH & DRY and I'm a little upset at both of them! :) HA


These two personality's brought something amazing to our team. They were girls that you loved to be around and could bring a smile to your face in very different ways! That is why I will miss both of them very much! They both recently had their first little babies!!! They have decided to take time away from teaching to be the best mommies they can be. Our team will not be the same without them! :( WE ARE VERY SAD TO SEE THEM LEAVE!!

The older I get the closer I get to finishing my FIRST BOOK! :)

Yes.. other than informational text or required books, this is probably the 1st book I have ever read... just because! HA Stephen is shocked as I pick it up nightly to read. I actually think I am going to finish this one too.

We all know I am a TV LOVER. Friday nights I would seriously prefer sitting on a puffy couch filling my brain with teen/life drama than hitting the town! Well.. this Summer, I decided to take it to the next level. Roaming around in the grocery store I stumbled across LAUREN CONRADS new L.A. CANDY book (series 1). I thought and thought before making this purchase.... " Would I actually OPEN this book?" I could of fooled myself! I'm actually past the HALF WAY mark in this book and must say... I'm very proud of myself. I am extremely into this book and have trouble putting it down.

Ok.. I'm not recommending this book for BOOK CLUBS or anything, :) Those just seem too intense and serious to me. This is a book for girls that are into the HOLLYWOOD DRAMA. I can't relate to other books, because this is the ONLY BOOK I HAVE READ! HA But I can relate to my shows!

If you happen to be into: "Gossip Girl, 90210, THe Hills, The City, One Tree Hill, Melrose Place, The Bachelorette, Young Soaps than you definitely understand the DRAMA LIFE I'm talking about. IT'S THAT DRAMA YOU CAN'T STOP WATCHING, but it's not YOURS (which makes it 100X's better! :)

If you feel like me... You MUST add this book to your SUMMER READING LOG! It is a MUST! :)

DISCOVERY STORY.. My sister came in for Spring Break and left this cookie thing in my fridge and I was about to throw it away last night, but didn't for some reason. Then as I was packing my lunch this morning... adding my apple I thought... well I don't have anything sweet in here. So.. I added it in my lunch bag and took it out for LUNCH and BAM... I FELL IN LOVE.

V-DAY.... love bug day! :)

Ok... Let's just make something clear! I'm not a girl who thinks Valentines Day is just another day.... I'm not one to think of it being a day for Hallmark to make the most money of the year. I AM THE GIRL who DESIRES Valentines Day to be a day where two people can express their love BEYOND the natural day to day basis. AND... I feel like one of the most luckiest girls in the world to have a HUSBAND put up with my FANTASY WORLD by making me feel OVER AND BEYOND LOVED on this special day. He just goes along with it and MAKES IT HAPPEN! :)



To start the weekend off my hubby suprised me & took me to a SPECIAL PLACE in Dallas called
Al Biernat's http://www.albiernats.com/. We have heard how amazing the food was from magazines and quotes from celebrities. So we were both excited about trying this place out. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! The Salads were even FABULOUS, they were a meal themselves. Steaks, "SMASHED POTATOES" (The high roller choice of word) - HA HA , bread , cokes... EVERYTHING was just PERFECT! But.. to top off the night you will NEVER BELIEVE who we saw. Are you ready for this... The one and only "Saved by the Bell" AC SLATER otherwise known as MARIO LOPEZ. The one I choose to watch everyday on EXTRA. When I saw that dimple... I KNEW IT WAS HIM!


The next night of the weekend we got SUCKERED IN!! (Ok.. I got suckered in)! Yes... the movie with a million celebrities "Valentine's Day Movie"! Stephen again went along with it, and it turned out to be a pretty cute descent movie!










Earlier that day I tried out the NEW KROGER'S MARKETPLACE which just opened up in Frisco. They had a woman making CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES!
Yum... so knowing the "desert girl" that I am, I had to purchase the chocolates & berries and make some for our SPECIAL DAY!





These were a big EATING success while Playing one of my valentines gifts from Stephen. "UNO ATTACK" -- WE PLAYED FOUR HOURS and ate strawberries and TOASTED OFF the LOVE NIGHT with some grape sparkling cider!

My niece and nephew would like to say....

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY ~
